With thirty years of experience in the commercial and investment real estate field, Mark has assisted a wide range of entrepreneurs, private and public companies, as well as non-profit organizations, in successfully leasing over 1-million square feet of commercial and industrial space. Mark began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company as a leasing agent in Charlotte, NC, where he became one of the companies top leasing agents through pulling together a 390,000 SF build-to-suit lease with IBM. Later, he joined The Neenan Company where in a variety of leadership roles over a twelve year period, giving him a deep understanding of the architecture, construction, lean building and project finance.
In addition to his leasing and development expertise, he is a seasoned and skilled investment broker. Mark has assisted hundreds of 1031 Exchangers in finding and securing replacement properties to defer tax liabilities while creating reliable cash flow from income producing real estate.
Mark holds an MBA degree from the Colgate Darden School at the University of Virginia and a BS Degree from the University of Missouri. He is a graduate of Authentic Leadership Program at Naropa University, and has done advanced studies in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado. In 2010, Mark achieved LEED Green Associate certification through the U.S. Green Building Council, and he has presented to the Colorado Chapter of the USGBC and the Colorado Green Building Guild on "The Greening of Commercial Real Estate."
Mark is a former U.S. Marine infantry officer, having attained the rank of Captain. He is a graduate of the Leadership Fort Collins Class and served on the City of Fort Collins Water Board for four years. For relaxation he enjoys hiking, yoga, dancing, and a wide range of reading.
Cameron KennedySenior Vice President
Cameron Kennedy is a Senior Vice President with Tenant Wisdom. Based in Denver, he brings over 16 years of advisory and principal experience, along with great passion for Tenant Representation to this role.
Prior to Tenant Wisdom, Cameron was a principal with Cambria Advisors, a firm that provides real estate advisory services to wealth managers and family trusts.
Cameron is a former partner of Glenfield Capital, a real estate private equity firm based in Atlanta and worked for Newmark Grubb Knight Frank's Atlanta office where he played a critical role managing investment sales and tenant related assignments valued in excess of $150 million. In addition, Cameron was essential to the execution of many significant transactions including the disposition of the 247,000 square foot Class A SpeedFam-IPEC (now Novellus Systems) headquarters located in Chandler, Arizona, the sale-leaseback of the Trak Communications headquarters located in Tampa, Florida, and the sale-leaseback of the 206,000 square foot Synertech headquarters located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Cameron began his real estate career with New York based Studley Commercial Real Estate Advisors (now Savills Studley). Before his career in commercial real estate, Mr. Kennedy acted as a political manager for a variety of causes in Washington, DC including The Margaret Thatcher Foundation and the Democratic National Committee.
Cameron holds a B.A. from Rollins College. He lives in Denver with his wife and two school-age children. For relaxation, he enjoys running, fly-fishing, hiking, and reading.
